Most important factors

1. Financial Proof
One of the important requirement to take note is that applicant has to show Bank statements of saving and fixed deposit accounts showing at least S$30,000 or S$10,000 on top of the course fee to apply for student pass in Singapore. (Documentary proof of financial ability of applicant and applicant's parents). Please scan and email us your bank statement if you are uncertain.

Examples:
a. If the course fee is S$5,000, your bank statement should have S$30,000
b. If the course fee is S$25,000, your bank statement should have S$35,000

Student pass will not be approved if the applicant do not have the sufficient fund as adviced.

If you are being sponsored by companies, relatives or friends, it is advisable that the funds should be transferred to the applicant/applicant parent's account or there may be low approval rate on the student pass application.



2. Work Part Time
Students are not allowed to work part time in Singapore. At present, International students studying FULL-time in Singapore, are NOT suppose to work at the same time. Student who gets caught will have their student pass cancelled and be sent back to their own country.

If you want to work in Singapore, you have to look for your own employment agency. We are unable to assist on this matter.

3. Scholarship
There is no scholarship available for new applicants. However, there are some schools that offer scholarship to their top students after each academic year.



4. Loan
If you are looking for loan, you will have to apply from your own country.



5. Money Transfer
Countries like Myanmar and African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, etc) have restrictions on money transfer. Please find your way to confirm that you are able to transfer your application fee and course fee before further consultation.



6. Student Pass Processing Time
Though Immigration office stated that the student pass processing time is 2 to 8 weeks, recently there are increased of International students from all over the world who would like to study in Singapore and thus the processing time is usually 6 to 8 weeks now.

If you have applied with us, you do not need to call us everyday to check on your application status. We will inform you immediately once we get to know the results.



7. Social Visitor Pass/Visa's Validity
We know that there are some students who are very excited to visit Singapore and cannot wait to start studying in Singapore. However, please note that you will be given only 14 days of Social Visitor Pass/Visa. You will need to leave Singapore after 14 days and will not be able to stay and wait till your student pass is processed.



8. International Student Qualification
a. International students must have at least 12 years of education and taken a national/international examination, recognised for the purpose of admission to Diploma or first year of Bachelor Degree.

Pakistan ‘A’ Level or HSC
Philippines High School Diploma
Singapore GCE ‘A’ Level

Other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

b. If International students have at least 10 years of education, they are eligible for foundation courses or Diploma in Design courses.



9. English Requirement
International students from non-English speaking countries like Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, China, etc will be qualified for English requirement if have pass IELTS/TOEFL exam with the school's required marks. Or students will have to take a placement test when they arrive Singapore. Placement test may be chargeable in some schools.



10. Application Fee
Students are required to pay application fee to the school before we can process your application. Application fees vary between schools, range from S$200 to S$1,500.



11. Full Time / Part Time Courses
EnrolHub.com specializes in Full Time courses. However, if you are looking for Part Time course(for local/Singapore resident pass holders only), feel free to call our consultants for assistance.



12. Universities Ranking & Certificate Recognition
We do not have universities ranking. All the courses that are listed in EnrolHub.com are registered with Singapore Ministry of Education and should be internationally recognised. The certificate recognition depends on the company or country that you are going to work for in future.



13. Job Placement
There are no job placement available in all schools in Singapore. However, consultants from schools can always advice students on ways to find a job.



14. Instalment Payment for Course Fee
Usually course fees that are S$15,000 and below does not have instalment payment plan. If there are instalments payable, the total course fee will be higher than single payment course fee.



15. Notarised Documents
If your birth certificate, education certificates and results are not in English language, they should be translated and notarized by Notary Public.

Who is Notary Public?
•  A person appointed by the State or public authority; or
•  A practising advocate or solicitor.



16. Living & Accommodation Expenses
Generally it is about S$9,000 a year, excluding the course fees. However, the amount depends very much on individuals.

17. Hostel & Meals
EnrolHub.com would recommend our students to stay in a hostel rather than to share apartment with other people if they do not know Singapore well enough. Hostels' costs are generally lower than apartments and they provide many facilities that apartments do not have. And also, many students got cheated for staying at apartments. Students get to meet more friends through staying in hostel so that they will not feel home sick.



18. Age Limit
Singapore Government has not set any age limit on education. However, if you are above 30 years old and would like to study in Singapore, you should be able to explain the reason for studying in Singapore and your plans after graduated in Singapore.



19. Does EnrolHub.com Charge?

20. Rejection on Online Application
If you get rejection for your online application in EnrolHub.com, please look at the reasons stated. Most common reasons are insufficient financial support or the necessary fields in the form are not filled up.



21. Marrying a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
There are many foreigners thought that marrying a local female companion will entitle them citizenship. Do note that this is a very wrong information. Marrying a local will probably NOT entitle you any Singapore Citizenship. International students and work permit holders in Singapore are not allowed to marry Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residence without proper procedures. People whom committed such offence will be prohibited to enter Singapore forever.
